B1 The conditional — “would”

The conditional is the “would” tense: hypotheticals, polite requests and future-in-the-past. It’s easy to form — add the endings to the whole infinitive.

Uses: Me gustaría un café (I would like a coffee — polite), Yo en tu lugar estudiaría (In your place I would study). Same irregular stems as the future: tendría, haría, diría, podría.
