A2 Negation (no, nunca, nada, nadie)

The basic negative is no before the verb: No hablo francés.

| ninguno | none |
| tampoco | neither |
Unlike English, Spanish uses a double negative: No veo a nadie (I don’t see anybody). If the negative word comes after the verb, you still need no before it.
